Emerging from my world
Imagine living in a box And I wont come out Until I've broken all the locks La Roux - As If By Magic 4th image in a series of 4. Other pics in series:  [link]  [link]  [link]This is an illustration I created for a lyrics book assignment, we had to create at least 4 layouts constructed out of found objects or copyright free materials, around lyrics from a song of our choice, or some other written word/story. lol The cover to the book was the 'box', just so the lyrics make sense btw. Funnily enough it's like I submitted these in reverse order since this is the first page and all lol. No coloring was used in this image, just a solid background color. This one is made completely out of scanned material. Using things like newspaper, chains, a plastic medicine measure thingy for the bubbles, different textures for the character like feathers and paper etc. I know this pic series is a departure from what I typically do, they're collages for fucks sake what do you expect. xD; |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
